These are extremely rare hypersensitivity reactions...but they are devastating when they happen.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis are similar reactions affecting the skin and mucous membranes. Toxic epidermal necrolysis affects a larger portion of the skin.
